What is Blooming Blossoms?

Blooming Blossoms is a Brisbane based online florist.  Blooming Blossoms specialise in:

Do you have an order deadline for same day delivery?

Yes, our cut-off for orders in Brisbane to get same day delivery is 12:00pm each day or until sold out.  We only provide fresh seasonal flowers, so sometimes certain flowers are not available, or a distribution issue occurs.  If we can't accommodate your order that day, we will deliver your order the next business day.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to areas to the greater Brisbane area, Logan and Redlands.  If you are unsure whether we deliver to the area that you need, you can check our delivery areas page by clicking here.

What time will my flowers be delivered, can I have them delivered at a certain time?

All deliveries are placed on a courier route, they do not get put on separate courier journeys.  Couriers then deliver to those that are closest first and so on. The courier routes run from the north side of Brisbane to the south. Placing your order early in the day, does not mean that you get first delivery, it goes by distance from starting point only, no job gets any kind of priorities, we simply cannot accommodate them. Flower arrangements will be delivered to business and residential addresses between 9:00am and 5pm at the latest on the day you request them to be delivered. You will be notified by email when your order has been given to the courier.

These times are generally the latest possible, in most cases they are delivered well before that time as we aim to get them to your recipient as soon as possible that day.  In the event that there is an unforeseen traffic or weather event or serious issue that occurs we will do our best to contact you and will still try to get the flowers delivered as soon as possible, in this case residential may be delivered prior to 7pm and business could be the next business day.

We are also unable to guarantee specific delivery times as our drivers travel via the most efficient route on the day, which keeps the price of our flowers down. If we shipped each floral arrangement individually it would cost much more than what we charge. We can provide a rough estimate at times, but can't guarantee that as the courier may change their route for optimisation reasons.

What days do you operate?

We deliver Monday to Friday, except on public holidays, Christmas and New Year. However we do operate on certain holidays that fall on weekends, such as Mother's Day and Father's Day.  Keep an eye on out for information that we release on special event days that we will open later or out of our normal business hours. If you order for delivery on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday we will deliver your flower arrangement on the next business day if we have not advertised that we will open on that day.

Can I include a message?

Yes of course! When you order your flowers there is a message box that says 'Message to recipient?", this is where you fill in your message to the person you are sending them to.  If you feel you went passed this point and didn't fill it out,you will receive a confirmation email that will include the message chosen.  If still unsure, you can always email the message to us and we'll make sure it is included. Can I order for a later date?

Yes. There is a date clicker on all products, so you can chose a future date. Some products have a future date product. You can find the future versions of all products HERE.

What if nobody is home?

If there’s nobody to receive the flowers, we will first attempt to contact the recipient if you gave their phone number.  If we are still unable to make contact or no one is home, we’ll do our best to find a discreet and shady spot for them. If no one is home, they are safe dropped if possible on the property at the door. If access cannot be gained and no one answers the phone, then the flowers come back to our studio and a re-delivery fee of $15.00 is payable. All of our flower arrangements and products arrive with water to sustain them for at least a few hours, so they will endure ok. But please try to get them indoors asap as our Queensland heat is not kind to flowers, especially roses. 

What if I enter the wrong address when ordering?

It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct address when ordering, including the unit, apartment number or company name if applicable. If you give us the wrong address and we are unable to deliver the flowers upon first attempt, we may charge you a $15 re-delivery fee to send it out again the next day. 

What if something happens to Blooming Blossoms stock or our order with our suppliers have an issue?

We will do our best to still accommodate your flower order, that may include trying to source the flowers elsewhere.  If that fails we will make a similar bunch of flowers using flowers and foliage of a similar price point and style so that you are not missing out or being left with no flowers to your recipient..
